pected amines requires higher H2 pressure and
longer reaction times. With acetonitrile, the
scrambling reaction allows production of trime-
thylamine in moderate yield. The condensation
reaction between NH3 and small alcohols such
a methanol and ethanol provides reasonable
amine yields under the reaction conditions tried.
