6 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene (DBU) gives the best
performance in comparison with other bases in the reaction.
The reason might be that the DBU has better solubility in
organic solvents compared with other inorganic bases, and
shows stronger alkalinity than Et
system.
