Concerted Mechanism

In the concerted mechanism, the FLP interacts with H2 in such a way that the H-H bond cleavage occurs simultaneously. The electron-rich amine donates electrons to the H2 molecule, and the electron-deficient borane accepts electrons, causing the H-H bond to break and H2 to release. This mechanism occurs in a single step, with no well-defined intermediates.
