Hydroacylation

Hydroacylation is a type of chemical reaction in which an aldehyde or ketone (the acylating agent) reacts with an alkene or alkyne (the hydrocarbon substrate) to form a new carbon-carbon bond, resulting in the addition of an acyl group to the hydrocarbon.
