Structure of Glutaric anhydride (CAS NO.108-55-4):
Product Category of Glutaric anhydride (CAS NO.108-55-4): Pharmaceutical Intermediates;Anhydride Monomers;Carbonyl Compounds;Carboxylic Acid Anhydrides
Glutaric anhydride(108-55-4) is mainly used in the production of rubber, plastics, resins, medicines, etc.
1. With the dehydrating agent, such asacetic anhydride, heating the glutaric acid to dehydrate it and obtain glutaric anhydride(108-55-4).
2. Heating mixture of binary carboxylic acid (succinic acid, glutaric acid, adipic acid) to dehydrate succinic acid and glutaric acid, then take some of the distillate under a certain temperature to get glutaric anhydride(108-55-4) .
