PurposePamidronate disodium–associated bone necrosis is poorly understood at the cellular and molecular levels. This study proposes a pathway leading to the pamidronate disodium–mediated inhibition of osteogenic differentiation of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMMSCs) derived from the mandible in vitro.
