Solvothermal synthesis of cerium dioxide microcrystallites: effect of the solvent
-
Add time:07/25/2019 Source:sciencedirect.com
Submicronic well crystallized particles of cerium dioxide have been prepared through a new route: a solvothermal process. The precursor and the solvent are raised up to high temperature and high pressure conditions near the supercritical conditions of the system. The present study is devoted to a comparison of the characteristics of CeO2 microcrystallites elaborated from two different solvents: water and ethanol.
