BackgroundDaylight photodynamic therapy (dPDT) is an effective treatment for field-change actinic keratoses (AK), with similar efficacy to conventional PDT but lower patient pain scores. Whilst AK occur consequent to chronic solar ultraviolet (UV) exposure, paradoxically solar visible radiation is used during PDT.
