Outer mitochondrial membrane was isolated from swelled rabbit liver mitochondria and precipitated with Ca++ at a concentration that does not precipitates microsomes. After induction with 20-methyl cholanthrene or Aroclor the outer membrane shows the presence of cytochrome P450 and glucose 6-phosphatase.
