The foreign H-2-like antigens, abnormally expressed by the BALB/c (H-2d) sarcoma MCG4, were characterized by immunoprecipitation with specific sera and SDS-PAGE (sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis). These foreign antigens, like normal H-2 antigens, have a structure consisting of two polypeptides of 45,000 and 12,500 daltons, respectively.
