Study of the thermal properties and some reactions of silver fluorides

The thermal properties of silver fluoride and silver subfluoride were studied by derivative thermal analysis and by X-ray analysis. From the results, conclusions were drawn on the decomposition mechanism.The thermal behaviour of silver fluoride-alkali halide systems was studied. It was established that silver fluorides react with the alkali halides.
