Add time:08/18/2019 Source:sciencedirect.com
We present evidence that the optical rotatory power of mercurous chloride is zero, in contrast with a previous report. The evidence is consistent with the picture of mercurous chloride crystals as uniaxial and non-optically active, but with some tendency for optic axis “wander”.
