A variety of 2-exo-substituted 2-endo-acetamidonorbornenes (2a–g) were synthesized in exceedingly high exo selectivities by organoaluminum-promoted nucleophilic substitution on 2-endo-acetamido-2-exo-methoxynorbornene (1).
