1-(3-Chlorophenyl)-3-(5-chlorothiophen-2-yl)-5-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole was synthesized by condensation/cyclisation reaction of (E)-1-(5-chlorothiophen-2-yl)-3-phenylprop-2-en-1-one and (3-chlorophenyl)hydrazine hydrochloridein the presence of 3–4 drops of conc. hydrochloric acid in methyl alcohol under reflux conditions.The structureproof of the title molecule was obtained by spectral and single crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The title compound crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system under space group P21/c.
