Synthesis and characterization of a new series of (triphenylphosphine)(nitrosyl)(O-alkyl-dithiocarbonate)nickel complexes

A new series of (triphenylphosphine)(nitrosyl)(O-alkyl-dithiocarbonate)nickel complexes were synthesized and characterized. The characterization of the complexes was done by elemental analysis and by their spectroscopic data (I.R.,1H N.M.R. and M.S.). From the spectroscopic study it is deduced that the complexes are four-coordinated and can be considered as pseudo-tetrahedral derivatives of the |Ni(NO)|+ unit.
