The immunomodulatory effect of Cucurbitacin E (cas 18444-66-1), extracted from Ecballium elaterium, was tested on peripheral human lymphocytes. These lymphocytes were co-cultured with cancer cells and an interesting lymphocyte-mediated cytotoxicity was observed.
