BackgroundThe mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) integrates energy level to modulate cell proliferation and autophagy. CARDAMONIN (cas 18956-16-6) exhibits anti-proliferative activity through inhibiting mTOR. In this study, the effect of cardamonin on autophagy and its mechanism on mTOR inhibition were investigated.
