Chemstations is a leading global supplier of process simulation software for the following process industries: Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, and Fine Chemicals, including Pharmaceuticals.
History:
1984: Entrepreneurial professors form team to develop first totally PC based process simulator; soon sell technology to McGraw Hill
1988: Business takes off as Chemstations’ executives purchase ownership rights and begin marketing CHEMCAD.
1992: Chemstations launches two new products, CC-THERM for heat exchanger design and rating, and CC-BATCH for batch distillation.
1998: Chemstations launches new product for dynamic simulation of reactors, CC-ReACS. In addition, the planned tight integration between all Chemstations' programs is achieved.
1999: Another new product, CC-DCOLUMN is introduced to meet the needs of the plant engineer for a friendly, usable dynamic column modeling tool.
2000: Chemstations passes the 1000 mark for number of companies who have invested in their technologies.
