  • Many years ago, lunch was still served as the main meal in a day. However, now this habit has gradually been changed, and supper seems to become the most important meal during the day. People tend to prepare a lot of rich food for supper. However, too much rich and oil food at supper is harmful for our health and may make us easily get the following diseases.

    First, dreaminess. Eating too much food at supper will increase the burden on intestines and stomach, and bring great pressure to the surrounding organs. Such information will be passed to the brain. Once the "excited wave" is spread to other parts of the cerebral cortex, it will make people suffer from dreaminess. Nightmare will not only make people feel fatigue and influence sleeping quality, in addition, as time passes, it will lead to neurasthenia.

    Second, obesity. As people generally do less exercises at night, so there will be little energy consumed. The large amount of extra energy will synthesize into fat, which gradually make people gain weight.

    Third, high blood pressure. When people are sleeping, the speed of blood flow will slow down. If you eat too much meat at supper, with time going on, there will be a large number of blood lipid deposited in the vessel walls, thus causing atherosclerosis and making people more susceptible to high blood pressure and coronary heart disease.

    Fourth, diabetes. If one keeps eating too much at supper, it will repeatedly stimulate the massive secretion of insulin, which in turn can cause metabolic disorders, and often lead to diabetes.

    Fifth, calculus. According to the test, the peak time of urination for human beings is usually four to five hours after eating. If you eat supper too late, it will postpone the peak time of urination until midnight or even early in the morning. However, at that time, you are often fast asleep and don't want to getting up to urinate. As a result, it will make the calcium salt and urine detained in the bladder. They will interact with uric acid and form calcium oxalate. Over time it will lead to lithangiuria.

    Sixth, intestinal cancer. As the activities are always reduced after supper, there must be some digested substances which can not be absorbed by the body. Under the impact of anaerobic bacteria in the large intestine, these substances will produce some harmful chemicals. When people are asleep, enterocinesia is decreased, which reinforces these substances to stay longer in the intestinal cavity, thus increasing the risk of intestinal cancer.

    From this we can see that improper supper may bring serious harms to human health. As a result, we should pay special attention to the food we eat at supper. Prepare simple and bland food for supper, and eat try to eat less.
