Nowadays, most people take slenderness as one of basic standards to judge a girl’s beauty. Just because of such a standard, many girls have tried various ways to lose weight. They even use fruits to replace dinner, as they are afraid of the starch in the dinner which can make them become fat. If you are very fat, you can replace your dinner by fruits. However, if your weight is rather normal and you just want to be slimmer, it is unsuitable for you to just eat some fruits to finish your work.
People usually need various nutrients such as carbohydrate, protein and minerals. If a person just eats fruits instead of dinners for a long time, harmful effect will be produced to the human body’s endocrine, digestive system and immune system. It can not be denied that fruits indeed contain rich vitamin and minerals, and some other biological active substances like carotenoid, biological flavonoid, anthocyanin, organic acid and etc. However, many other nutrients needed by human body are not contained enough in fruits, such as protein. If a person wants to absorb enough protein needed by his body everyday just through eating fruits without any meat or bean, his must eat at least 9 kilograms, which is rather impossible. At the same time, it is very difficult for people to absorb nonheme iron contained in fruits. Enough protein and iron will be absorbed by the human if fruits are eaten for a long term without any dinners. Then, anemia and lowered immune function will be caused. In addition, people who eat fruits to replace the dinner can not get enough energy will eat too much in the evening, which will seriously affect people’s plan of losing weight.
Here are three principles for people to eat fruits in a proper way.
First, we must take fruits as a supporting role. We can replace the dinner by the fruits once in a while instead of every day. When we have dinner, we can eat some cereal foods or meat. And some green vegetables are also necessary. Then you can have yogurt or fruit salad as the supplement after lunch.
Second, it is better for us to never overeat. After lunch, the blood in the body will focus in intestines and stomach so as to conduct digestion and absorption effectively. And at this time, the brain is in ischemic and anoxic condition. Overeating will prolong the time of the brain's ischemic and anoxic state, which will seriously affect the work efficiency.
The third point is that the more work you must do, the more carefully you must be in having dinner.In order to keep healthy, people cannot replace the dinner by fruits. Three principles should be paid attention to so as to eat fruits in a proper way.
