However, the content of crude fibers and some specific nutrients contained in fruits is lower than that in green leafy vegetables. What's more, fruits lack of vitamin B12, and the amino acids contained is also not comprehensive. If taking fruits as the main meals for a long time, it will cause a lot of diseases, such as anemia, especially for women. If women want to be pregnant, they should remember to take in balanced and abundant nutrition. For the sake of losing weight, if they only eat an apple or orange as the main meal, it will cause serious consequences both to their future babies as well as women themselves.
In recent years, the clinical findings have showed that, if the pregnant women eat too much fruits, it will easily lead to hyperlipidemia. What's more, the occurrence of gestational diabetes will also increase. Gestational diabetes refers to the abnormal glucose metabolism during the pregnancy for some pregnant women, which will increase the level of blood sugar. The main reason causing this disease is the improper diet, in which excessive eating fruits is the biggest incentive.
If the gestational diabetes is not controlled in time, it will first affect the health of the pregnant mother. It may easily lead to infection during the pregnancy, miscarriage, premature birth, stillbirth and polyhydramnios. Secondly, it will bring serious danger to the growth and development of the baby.
As a result, experts advise that pregnant women should eat a variety of foods, so as to take in different kinds of nutrients, and achieve the balance of the nutrition. In particular, pregnant women should not take fruits as a staple food. In a word, pregnant women must get rid of the errors of eating excessive fruits, so as to bring benefits to the bodies of their future baby as well as themselves.
