Experts say that eating garlic every morning can kill bacteria and extend people’s life.

    Raw garlic is better than cooked one. Garlic has so many functions because it has alliin and allinase. These two substances stay at raw garlic respectively. Once you smash the garlic, these two substances react to produce a colorless fluid- allicin which can kill bacteria significantly. But it will lose its function once heated. Thus, it is better to eat raw garlic.

    In German, there is ice cream, jam, white spirit made of garlic. They not only taste delicious, but also are healthy for the bodies. The garlic oil refined from the allicin also has high value of nutrition.

    But we should pay attention to not eat too much garlic as it can influence the absorption of vitamin B. What’s more, it irritates the eyes, and may cause oculoglandular conjunctivitis. And we’d better not eat garlic when the stomach is empty, or when we have headache, cough or toothache.

    As we know, many people are afraid to eat garlic because they will have a bad breath after eating it. In fact, you can drink a cup of coffee, milk or green tea to remove the bad breath. Or you can chew some cachou or green tea leaves.
