The reaction of 5-diphenylphosphine-uracil with M(CO)5thf (M = Cr, Mo, W; thf = tetrahydrofuran) yields the novel 5-diphenylphosphine-uracil-pentacarbonyl-metal(0) complexes.In each case the phosphorus atom acts as a donor atom.The compounds were characterized by their 1H, 1H(31P), 31P(1H) NMR, IR, Raman and mass spectra.
