4.1.4. General procedure for the synthesis of Mannich bases
(23e33)
To a solution of corresponding compounds (12e22) (1 mmol) in
96% ethanol, pyrrolidine (1 mmol) and formaldehyde (37%, 0.2 mL)
were added and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1
h. Next, distilled water was added and the precipitate formed was
filtered off, washed several times with distilled water, and crys-
tallized from ethanol.
