Cyclization of chlorosulfonyl isocyanate with phenyl-hydrazones: A synthetic route to triazinonoxathiazine-dioxides and triazinones

A convenient synthetic route is reported for the preparation of aroyl substituted triazinones and triazinonoxathiazinedioxides by the interaction of chlorosulfonyl isocyanate and phenylhydrazones (derived from acetylacetone, 1-benzoylacetone and dibenzoylmethane).
