A novel biflavonoid, genkwanol B, was isolated from the roots of Daphne genkwa.The structure of genkwanol B was determined on the basis of chemical studies and spectroscopic data, including NOESY and HMBC experiments. Key words: Daphne genkwa; Thymelaeaceae; biflavonoid; genkwanol B; flavonoid.
