(+/-)-Nanaimoal and (+/-)-nanaimool were synthesized via Diels-Alder Reaction of 1,1-dimethyl-2,3-dimethylenecyclohexane, a novel building block for cyclic terpenoids, easily prepared from N,N-diethylgeranylamine.
