10 hr. Then the reaction mixture was filtered through Celite and eluted with
dichloromethane. The filtrate was washed with saturated aqueous NaHCO3
solution, and then water, dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered, and concen-
trated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by column chroma-
tography (5% ethyl acetate/hexane) to give 17 (53 mg, 45%), 18 (12 mg,
10%), 19 (18 mg, 15%) and 20 (4 mg, 3%).
