Pyridine and pyridine derivatives were efficiently oxidized to the
corresponding N-oxides in high yields under mild conditions.
After reaction, the products were separated from the system by
extraction. The catalyst dissolved in aqueous phase could be
used for the next run. This system is an environmentally friendly
and reusable oxidation system for pyridine oxidation.
