Optical resolution of 2,5-dimethyl-Δ³-pyrroline 2 has been carried out via diastereomeric salts with (+)- and (-)-10-camphorsulfonic acid.The absolute configuration of enantiomers 2 is determined and a possibility of their application in asymmetric synthesis is shown.
