The synthesis of some imino-oxime derivatives and investigation of their Ni(II), Co(II), Co(III) and Cu(II) complexes

Two new ligands and their transition metal complexes were synthesized. These ligands are 1,2-bis(isonitrosophenylketimine)ethane (BPEH₂) and 1,3-bis(isonitrosophenylketimine)propane (BPPH₂). With these ligands, complexes were synthesized using Ni(II), Co(II), Co(III) and Cu(II) salts with a metal:ligand ratio of 1:1. The structures of the above were determined by ¹H NMR and IR spectroscopy, elemental analyses and magnetic susceptibility.
