In the course of our studies on the bark of Cudrania cochinchinensis, we isolated four new prenylated xanthones, named gerontoxanthones E, G, H and I, along with the known xanthone, cudraniaxanthone.The structures of new xanthones were established by spectroscopic and chemical means.Key Word Index - Cudrania cochinchinensis; Moraceae; prenylated xanthone; 13C NMR; gerontoxanthone.
