The identification of a number of metabolites of the novel antiarrhythmic agent, alpha,alpha-dimethyl-4-(alpha,alpha,beta,beta-tetrafluorophenethyl)benzylamine (MK-251), is presented. The compound is extensively metabolized by dog, monkey, baboon and man.
