K[RuSalphenCl2], K[RuSalenCl2], and electroconducting polymers on their basis are synthesized and their electrochemical properties are studied in solutions of two supporting electrolytes tetrabutylammonium perchlorate (TBAP) and NaClO4. A comparative analysis of electroreduction and electropolymerization processes in these two electrolytes is performed. The cyclic voltammograms (CV) obtained for K[RuSalphenCl2] are similar to those previously measured for K[RuSalenCl2]. The polymers are synthesized for the first time that exhibit the reversible charge transport and the conditions of their formation are considered. The kinetics of formation of the redox-polymers is studied. The dependence of the polymer film thickness on the reduction potential and concentration of the starting Ru(III) complex is established.
