In the title complex, [RhH(C₂B₉H₉Br₂)(C₁₈H ₁₅P)₂].-CH₂Cl₂, the rhodacarborane molecule adopts a closed icosahedral RhC₂B₉-cage geometry with adjacent Rh and C atoms. Principal distances include Rh-P 2.345 (2) and 2.276 (2), Rh-C 2.289 (8) and 2.241 (8), and B-Br 1.974 (9) and 1.980 (9) A.
