thiosemicarbazones formed from derivatives of
2-hydroxychalcone and thiosemicarbazide. The new
complexes were characterized by analytical and
spectroscopic methods. An octahedral structure was
tentatively proposed for all of the complexes. The
complexes showed efficient catalytic activity for the
oxidation of both primary and secondary alcohols with
excellent yields in short reaction time in the presence
of N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide, and also for transfer
hydrogenation of aldehydes and ketones with high
