The incorporation of triazolo-nulleosides during the synthesis of a specific sequence yields, after treatment with a mixture of pyridine aldoximate- tetramethyl guanidine- concentrated ammonia, mixed probes oligonucleotides with practically equimolecular amounts of T/^MeC and G/^NH2A at the degenerate sites.
