The obtained data show that the complexes exhibit
higher antifungal activity as compared to the control
(blank), ligands, and metal salts. The complexes show
moderate activity as compared to the standard fungi-
cides (bavistin and emcarb). The results suggest that the
changes in structure due to coordination in the com-
plexes decrease the growth of microorganisms relative
to the metal salt, ligands, and control. Hence, complex-
ation increases antifungal activity due to the presence
of azomethine(C=N) and/or sulfur groups [32]. The
data are recorded in Table 4.
