Nitrone Synthesis: Platinum Nanoclusters in Amine-Functionalized Metal-
different catalytic disciplines, but also facilitated the mass transport
and enhanced catalyst utilization, improving the synergistic
catalytic abilities in cascade reactions. The protocol of integrating
mesoporous metals and enzymes at spatially distinct locations of
advanced materials with high compositional and structural
complexities holds great promise in fabrication of multifunctional
catalysts, as well as in other cascade catalysis systems. There is also
much room for future research and developing more metal-enzyme
nanocatalysts, especially by combining cheaper metals and the
enzymes that can catalyze other types of reactions.
