In summary, a biomimetic and sustainable protocol
has been developed for the Chan–Lam coupling of
arylboronic acids and aryl(heteroaryl)amines in water.
The present investigation shows several advantages,
such as the use of aqueous media, avoidance of base,
high product yields, use of nature inspired ligands,
low catalyst load, moderate reaction temperature,
avoidance of inert and moisture-free conditions, and
vide applicability to a variety of substrates. This
method also shows high chemoselectivity and is an
extension to the application of porphyrin-based organic
synthesis.
