The (4+1) coordination environment around Cu^II in the title compound, , can be described as square pyramidal, distorted towards trigonal bipyramidal.The baasl coordination positions are occupied by one N and two O atoms from the doubly deprotonated ligand, and one O atom of a water molecule, the apical position being occupied by the other water molecule.
