vided the control necessary to relate the surface functionalities on
the carbon surface to the redox waves present in the oxygen-free
voltammetry. The clear understanding that the high potential redox
peak originates from the proposed active site is the first step toward
the development of an electrochemical tool to quantify the number
of active sites.
