Two new afzelechin glycosides named arthromerin A and B were isolated from the roots of Arthromeris mairei.Their structures were determined to be afzelechin-3-O-β-D-xylopyranoside and afzelechin-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, respectively.A purgative compound multiflorin A and another two known compounds were also isolated and identified.
