focused on how to use light to transform an inactive form to an
active one.54-56 In our work, UV light was utilized to realize a
totally opposite task, i.e. to inactivate an active AMP mimics.
This strategy may avoid their build up in the environment, and
therefore may fully eradicate drug resistance in combination
with their intrinsic anti-resistance potential.
