20 mM HEPES was added to each well. After 20 min incubation at
room temperature, luminescence was quantified using
Spectramax i3x (Molecular Devices, San Jose, CA). Activation
fold for each sample was calculated by dividing relative
luminescence units (RLU) for each condition by RLUs from media
alone controls.
