Charge-transfer interactions with N-methylquinolinium ion as electron acceptor

The charge-transfer interactions of N-methylquinolinium ion with aniline and substituted anilines have been investigated by electronic absorption spectroscopy and thermodynamic data determined.The thermodynamic and spectroscopic data has been used to obtain empirical energy parameters from Mulliken's theory.
