Several α,α,ω-trihydroperfluoroalkylallyl ethers (2a-c) have been prepared in excellent yields by phase transfer catalysis of α,α',ω-trihydroperfluoroalcoholes and allyl chloride using 3-siloxanylpropylammonium halides as a catalyst.In the presence of a Pt-olefin complex the hydrosilylation of 2a-c with H-siloxanes affords 3-siloxanylpropoxy-α,α',ω-trihydrofluoroalkanes in high yields.The reaction of 2a-c with aqueous NaHSO3/Na2SO3 solution gives anionic fluorosurfactants (4c) beginning with n = 3.
