Cobalt tetrakis(4-pyridyl)porphyrin (abbr:CoTPyP) absorbed on a glassy carbon electrode (abb:GCE) catalyzed the reduction of oxygen to hydrogen peroxide at a rate of 1.0x1E6 mol-1 dm3 s-1.Although the CoTPyP exhibited deactivation, it was found that the activity could be restored by open-circuit relaxation.
