BW–BST composites at a DC bias field near the phase transition
temperature were interpreted using Johnson’s phenomenological
equation. The sample with x = 0.60 had a dielectric permittivity of
192, a tunability of 29.5% and a Q factor of 231 (at 2.700 GHz). The
low dielectric permittivity composite ceramics with high tunabili-
ty and good microwave properties are promising candidates in
tunable device applications.
