Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 60207-19-4 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 6,0,2,0 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 60207-19:
(7*6)+(6*0)+(5*2)+(4*0)+(3*7)+(2*1)+(1*9)=84
84 % 10 = 4
So 60207-19-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Structure-Based Design of N-(5-Phenylthiazol-2-yl)acrylamides as Novel and Potent Glutathione S-Transferase Omega 1 Inhibitors

Dai, Weiyang,Samanta, Soma,Xue, Ding,Petrunak, Elyse M.,Stuckey, Jeanne A.,Han, Yanyan,Sun, Duxin,Wu, Yong,Neamati, Nouri

, p. 3068 - 3087 (2019/03/07)

Using reported glutathione S-transferase omega 1 (GSTO1-1) cocrystal structures, we designed and synthesized acrylamide-containing compounds that covalently bind to Cys32 on the catalytic site. Starting from a thiazole derivative 10 (GSTO1-1 IC50 = 0.6 μM), compound 18 was synthesized and cocrystallized with GSTO1. Modification on the amide moiety of hit compound 10 significantly increased the GSTO1-1 inhibitory potency. We solved the cocrystal structures of new derivatives, 37 and 44, bearing an amide side chain bound to GSTO1. These new structures showed a reorientation of the phenyl thiazole core of inhibitors, 37 and 44, when compared to 18. Guided by the cocrystal structure of GSTO1:44, analogue 49 was designed, resulting in the most potent GSTO1-1 inhibitor (IC50 = 0.22 ± 0.02 nM) known to date. We believe that our data will form the basis for future studies of developing GSTO1-1 as a new drug target for cancer therapy.

Chromenones as potent bradykinin B1 antagonists

Bryan, Marian C.,Biswas, Kaustav,Peterkin, Tanya A.N.,Rzasa, Robert M.,Arik, Leyla,Lehto, Sonya G.,Sun, Hong,Hsieh, Feng-Yin,Xu, Cen,Fremeau, Robert T.,Allen, Jennifer R.

scheme or table, p. 619 - 622 (2012/02/04)

A series of fused 6,6-bicyclic chromenones was investigated for activity against the bradykinin B1 receptor. SAR studies based on a pharmacophore model revealed compounds with high affinity for both human and rabbit B1. These compounds demonstrated favorable pharmacokinetic properties and 5-chlorochromenone 15 was efficacious in a carrageenan-induced mechanical hyperalgesia model for chronic pain.

Optimization of chromone-2-carboxamide melanin concentrating hormone receptor 1 antagonists: Assessment of potency, efficacy, and cardiovascular safety

Lynch, John K.,Freeman, Jennifer C.,Judd, Andrew S.,Iyengar, Rajesh,Mulhern, Mathew,Zhao, Gang,Napier, James J.,Wodka, Dariusz,Brodjian, Sevan,Dayton, Brian D.,Falls, Doug,Ogiela, Christopher,Reilly, Regina M.,Campbell, Thomas J.,Polakowski, James S.,Hernandez, Lisa,Marsh, Kennan C.,Shapiro, Robin,Knourek-Segel, Victoria,Droz, Brian,Bush, Eugene,Brune, Michael,Preusser, Lee C.,Fryer, Ryan M.,Reinhart, Glenn A.,Houseman, Kathryn,Diaz, Gilbert,Mikhail, Ann,Limberis, James T.,Sham, Hing L.,Collins, Christine A.,Kym, Philip R.

, p. 6569 - 6584 (2007/10/03)

Evaluation of multiple structurally distinct series of melanin concentrating hormone receptor 1 antagonists in an anesthetized rat cardiovascualar assay led to the identification of a chromone-2-carboxamide series as having excellent safety against the chosen cardiovascular endpoints at high drug concentrations in the plasma and brain. Optimization of this series led to considerable improvements in affinity, functional potency, and pharmacokinetic profile. This led to the identification of a 7-fluorochromone-2-carboxamide (22) that was orally efficacious in a diet-induced obese mouse model, retained a favorable cardiovascular profile in rat, and demonstrated dramatic improvement in effects on mean arterial pressure in our dog cardiovascular model compared to other series reported by our group. However, this analogue also led to prolongation of the QT interval in the dog that was linked to affinity for hERG channel and unexpectedly potent functional blockade of this ion channel.

Infrared study of polysubstitution effects in benzophenones and acetophenones: contribution of inter and intracycle interaction mechanisms

Goethals, G.,Nadio, L.,Uzan, R.

, p. 199 - 204 (2007/10/02)

The carbonyl stretching frequencies of substituted 2-Me, 2,6-diMe, 2-MeO benzophenones and 2-Me, 2-MeO acetophenones have been measured in diluted CCl4 solutions. Two interaction mechanisms are observed. In X, Y substituted benzophenones with X on the same cycle as the ortho group and Y on the other cycle, it is shown that for X=Y, the effect of Y is greater than that of X except for very strong electron-releasing substituents. In this last case, the observed enhancement is attributed to the joint effects of intercycle interactions excercised on X and Y and of intracycle interaction on X.These results are corroborated by the study of substituted acetophenones in which only the intracycle mechanism can play a role.
